I’m currently the Consulting Director for FromHereOn in UK & Europe. I’ve also been an IT director, a programme manager, various types of architect including enterprise, programme, and solution; a change manager, a business design consultant, and a CTO.
Throughout this trip I’ve come to realise that many people don’t natively know how to design an operating model to best suit their function, know the best way to manage and lead people, structure their environment for collaboration, quality, and innovation, and to create different results to what they currently have.
Most people fumble, getting results through trial and error, or copying others, not realising that there is a whole body of proven knowledge about how to get great results with people and organisational design.
More than that, most managers don’t realise how big an impact this has on their results. People are how work gets done: they are the enabling factor and the limiting factor.
And even more than that, we know that the humanist approach to management — helping people have rewarding experience at work and getting their work done — work best.
My aim is to give you the knowledge and tools so that you can Make Work Better.
